Description
Escape the Domain of the Night Hag — Solo/Co-op RPG
Get in. Find the Hag. Get out alive.
Escape the Domain of the Night Hag is a quick, grim survival-horror RPG for 1–3 players with no GM. All it takes is half a deck of playing cards, two six-sided dice, a marker, and about 30–45 minutes — setup and character creation included.
How it works:
- The numbered Spades become the nine regions of the Hag's domain — from the mist-choked Miasmarsh to the Shore of Lost Souls. Lay them face down, then flip each one as your marker moves onto it.
- Jacks and Kings form the encounter deck: her lesser and elite minions. The Queen of Spades is the Hag herself.
- Roll 2d6 and read each die on its own — two successes, a split result, or a double failure decides how every fight, escape, and loot search plays out.
- Pick an objective (rescue a captured friend, map the domain for someone else…), then decide when you've pushed your luck far enough and run for the exit.
Your character:
Rolled up in a minute — hit points, a weapon, armor, gear, and one ability: Evasion (slip away from fights), Veteran (hit harder), or Blessed (shrug off the Hag's damage). Quickstart characters are included if you'd rather jump straight in. Loot found along the way — weapons, healing elixirs, holy symbols — can turn the odds.
Turn up the difficulty: add up to two more Hags to form a coven.
Includes 4 character sheets (also available as a free download).
